Get your trigger fingers ready because Aspyr Media just announced that first-person-shooter, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is being released later this year for the Mac. While Activision is handling distribution for PC, Aspyr will distribute for the Mac.

This Splash Damage developed game is the “spiritual successor” to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

“Players choose one of five unique classes in either the human Global Defense Force or the Strogg armies, each with their own array of specialist weapons and combat hardware. Teams fight for territory in tropical, arctic, temperate, urban and desert locations, and can play online or offline.”
